Hello moms and moms-to-be!

My name is Dayene but my friends call me Dadá. I’m 34 years old and 3 months pregnant with my first child! Hurray!

After hours and more hours of reading about pregnancy and babies I thought that sharing all that information and a bit of my day to day experience could not only help somone else but also help me learn from you all.

The web is an amazing place and I’ve learned a lot from all the websites I’ve been visiting and also from some online friends I’ve made. Sure family and friends advice is still the first thing you look for in a moment like this, but specially for me, a “foreign mom-to-be” (I’m Brazilian living in London by the way) the web has been a great advisor and helped me to understand what is like to have a baby in England, in a completely different culture and away from close family and friends.
